Product Description
The rosé wine Settenodi by Tenimenti Grieco is an elegant and fresh wine made from 100% Montepulciano grapes. The grapes are sourced from vineyards in San Martino in Pensilis (CB), thriving on mineral-rich soils at an altitude of 160 meters above sea level. This rosé captivates with its brilliant pink color with purplish highlights and a bouquet that combines delicate notes of red fruits and floral nuances.
On the palate, Settenodi is pleasantly fresh, with a balanced structure and a harmonious finish reminiscent of wild berries. A versatile wine that pairs perfectly with a variety of dishes and embodies Mediterranean joy in every glass.
Winemaking
The production of the Settenodi rosé wine is carried out with great care and traditional methods:
- Manual Harvesting: Grapes are handpicked and carefully selected in early October.
- Gentle Pressing: Grapes are gently pressed to extract the best juice fractions.
- Fermentation: After static clarification, the must is fermented with selected yeasts at 15-16°C.
- Aging: The wine matures for about 3 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and aromas.
- Sparkling Process: A second fermentation in autoclaves (Charmat method) over 30 days gives the wine its fine structure.
- Bottling: The wine is bottled in March to ensure its freshness and quality.
